'La Fête des Fous', an experimental documentary exploring the work of Calum and Cammy Stewart, internationally renowned Scottish tattoo artists known as The Stewart Brothers.
Shot within an LED volume using Virtual Production techniques, the film expands what is typically expected of the documentary form, blending portraiture, performance, and cinematic world-building to express the artistry and philosophy of tattooing in new ways.

Heart of Lochee

Co-produced with Abertay University as an R&D project shot within VIPRE on an LED volume using Virtual Production techniques. The promo mixes live action with 'Metahuman' 3D character design and experimental digital VFX.

Mainbeam Virtual Redux

'MAINBEAM Virtual Redux' is an R&D insights documentary about the VR recreation of Charlie Hooker’s 1983 performance 'MAINBEAM'.
The project was funded by InGAME, and used VR—combining 3D modelling, animation, photogrammetry, motion capture, and spatial sound design—to reconstruct the experience as faithfully as possible.

MAINBEAM explores the potential of game design tools, techniques and technologies to recreate and reimagine performance art.

This is a heartening loose-narrative led music promo that involves a single protagonist’s conflicting emotions as she struggles with parenthood and the sacrifice to self care that goes along with it.
This semi-linear film offers an enigmatic window into the mother’s hectic life as a single parent, building to a point where she contemplates running away from it all to find an easier life.
Woman of the year is a palpable story about the complexities of motherhood and loss of freedom that comes with it.​​

Tay 5G - Story Futures

'Abertay University' is leading on a ground-breaking project that has seen Virtual Production movie techniques shot over a 5G network in two separate location for the first time in the UK.
The test sequence (AI Armageddon) used the rapid bandwidth speed of 5G to connect industry quality digital backdrop screens in studios in Dundee and Manchester, allowing two actors to be filmed against a consistent virtual environment, without the need to travel to an exotic location, or be in the same room.

Sound of Light

'Sound of Light' is a multiplayer VR sound performance project. It uses the Oculus Quest's hand tracking feature to trigger sound with various hand gestures.
The idea behind this project is to create an anonymous and non-verbal play to explore how people can engage through those alternative methods of communication and see what we can feel.

‘Tip’ is a community-led R&D project that reimagines the lost area known as ‘Tipperary’ in Lochee, using groundbreaking interactive game design and immersive technology.

Developed through the InGAME , the project created an
augmented reality (AR) prototype that brings to life scenarios from Tipperary’s past, presenting them to audiences of the present and future though cutting edge media design and production.
By combining sound and visual storytelling, ‘Tip’ offers a richly immersive experience that reconnects people with the spirit and stories of a place once central to the community.
